Hotel Maintenance Technician

Position: Hotel Maintenance Technician
Reports To: Chief Engineer
Salary: $9.00 per hour
Job Purpose: Preventative maintenance of hotel rooms and maintenance requests
Job
Summary: Preventative maintenance of hotel equipment, structure, and surroundings.
Respond to guest and employee concerns involving all aspects of Engineering.
Duties:
Willingness to accept the most effective role.
Preventative maintenance of all aspects of hotel, including but not limited to; HVAC, plumbing, painting, exterior grounds, lighting, electrical, carpentry, masonry.
Carpet cleaning program.
Coordinate with outside venders on repairs, upgrades, and replacements.
Respond to all guest requests that require repair; including but not limited to television concerns, internet/computer, HVAC, plumbing.
Respond to all employee engineering requests.
Complete and file maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Ensure swimming pool is clean, safe, and functional as board of health regulations.
Mandatory involvement in hotel safety team.
Painting of guest rooms, as needed.
Power washing of sidewalks, pool area, and outside of hotel.
Qualifications:
Must be enthusiastic and energetic with a passion for hospitality
Must have basic maintenance skills to include plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry and HVAC
Must be able to work weekends, evening and holidays as needed
Ability to multi task
Reliable transportation
Physical Requirements:
Lift up to seventy (70) pounds, unassisted
Walking, bending, stretching, excessive standing required
Working with heights requiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
