The Role:
Configure and monitor data backups
Resolve errors and review for any security breaches
Monitor and manager utilization of disk space according to company needs
Maintain server hardware by installing and configuring
Install performance monitoring/alerting tools and operating systems
Implement appropriate processes by collaborating with other business units
Plans and executes documented changes to systems
Designs and implements server and or application solutions
Conducts systems capacity (disk space, performance, overall load) planning
Provides quotes from hardware/software/service vendors
Background Profile:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Non-degreed should have a minimum of 8 years of systems support experience.
8-10 years of experience preferred.
Oil/Gas experience preferred.
Intermediate hardware skills in Netapp and advanced skills in Dell Servers.
Advanced software skills in VMWare vSphere and Commvault Simpana .
Expert software skills in Microsoft Windows and Exchange.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
