Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to be an integral part of our established Independent Living community nestled at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Louisville, CO. This position puts your management, hospitality, operations and culinary experience to the test! You will assist the Executive Chef in planning, organizing, developing, and overall operation of culinary services to ensure its success. Collaboration on programs implemented by the Culinary Department is essential. Passion for people is a plus!
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Hiring and training new staff and providing ongoing management of the culinary team members.
Monitoring the departments budgetary requirements and take appropriate action to comply with these guidelines.
Oversee menu creation and planning.
Providing a variety of customer participation events such as cooking demonstrations, tastings, and themed events.

Ability to work on weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
Qualifications necessary for this role:
Culinary school graduate or equivalent demonstrated experience is required.
Proven successful management of a team to achieve common goals.
Four years management experience preferred.
Ability to provide coaching and mentoring to staff to achieve excellence.
Ability to collaborate with other departments and management to continuously improve quality and overall experience of our customers.
Ability to clearly communicate in verbal and written form.
Ability to communicate openly, honestly and responsibly with others.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
