Job Title: Food Service Attendant
Special Requirements:
This person must demonstrate a positive behavior and attitude toward customers and coworkers working together as a team
Must have the ability to work closely with others
Must be safety conscious, correcting any potential hazards to customers and coworkers when possible
Must exhibit an ability to perform duties with accuracy for customer satisfaction
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Including, but not limited to the following duties:
Follow food product preparation according to branded food program guidelines.
-Preparation of raw chicken and vegetables by washing, peeling and cutting
-Use proper measurements for consistent food quality and cost management
-Proof, microwave, fry or bake foods according to branded food program requirements
Stock product and label containers in prep tables and freezer as needed during and at end of work shift.
Ability to work using the following equipment as well as checking equipment to determine proper working order, temperatures for food preparation as trained
-Microwave
-Proofer
-Convection oven
-Deep Fryer equipment
-Breading Station
-Sub prep table
-Pizza prep table
-Counter top freezer
-Walk-in freezer/coolers
-Sinks
-Hot food viewer
-Heated Food display and holding units
Maintain records of food served and report waste product to management.
Maintain clean, safe and sanitized work areas.
-Soiled rags in container provided by laundry service
-Remove trash and garbage to dumpster
-Dishes must be washed throughout shift and completed by end of work shift
-Regularly clean and sanitize food prep surfaces
-Sweep and mop floors as needed during and at end of work shift
Qualifications:
Ability to follow instruction guides; written and verbal instructions; maintain records; organize time; handle reasonably heavy equipment and materials; communicate effectively orally and in writing and establish cooperative working relationships.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in writing or as verbally communicated
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, talk or hear, and taste or smell. The employee frequently is required to walk, use hands, handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee may be required to lift and or move up to 50 lbs. The employee must be capable of pushing and pulling items, carts and equipment and be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
