Logistics/Fleet Manager
We are looking for a highly motivated, energetic and strong Logistics/Fleet Manager for a growing team in Central Florida. American Builders Supply is Florida's largest independent supplier of lumber, truss, doors and windows and has been for nearly 25 years. We provide building materials for the residential building market statewide with locations in Jacksonville, Sanford, Clermont, Melbourne, Winter Haven, Tampa and Fort Myers. The ideal candidate will have local commercial driving or dispatch experience as well as a strong knowledge of local geography.
Job
Responsibilities:
o Efficiently route daily delivery and pick up routes
o Works with sales and purchasing department to coordinate delivery schedules
o Ensure driving routes allow for efficiency of deliveries and pickups
o Strong leadership and motivational skills
o Manage drivers hours and performance
o Detail Oriented and Organized
o Effective communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal
o Manager fleet DOT & Safety requirements
Job Requirements:
o High school diploma or GED required
o Minimum 3
years local commercial driving or dispatch experience
o Strong knowledge of local geography
