An excellent opportunity to join a rapidly growing non-profit community behavioral health agency that has been providing services to children, adults and families in Massachusetts for over 75 years.
Responsibilities:
Management and evaluation of all services for youth residents. Assists in developing policies, protocols and defines scope of services to be rendered within licensing/legislative regulations for program.
Development and administration of standards and procedures related to personnel, including staff development, budget, and the operation of the residential house.
Responsible for utilization review of charts. Maintaining all records, preparing required reports, and composing proper correspondences.
Daily management and working within the approved budget. Developing and implementing cost saving measures as needed.
Responds appropriately to common inquiries and complaints from youth, regulatory agencies, and other service providers. Collects the date, defines the problem, establishes facts and draws valid conclusions.
As the primary liaison for the program, you will be working collaboratively with other programs developing standards and procedures, while adhering to agency and state requirements.
Maintains the overall quality of the program, providing consistent high quality services for the residents.
Requirements and Ability:
Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or other related field.
Licensed Social Worker or licensed eligible.
Minimum of 3 years experience in community mental health setting.
Must have at least 2 years working with children and adolescents
Provide leadership skills implementing training and treatment adhering to therapeutic objections.
Knowledge and experience in diagnostic and treatment procedures.
Skill and experience in clinical supervision.
Ability to transfer knowledge to others through modeling, supervision and training
Knowledge of community behavioral health systems and community resources
Ability to exercise considerable independent judgment and adapting to specific situations while applying procedures and adhering to regulations.
Ability to create a healthy environment to bring about positive changes in the behaviors, attitudes, and values of youth residing in the program
