Caregiver / Direct Service Worker
We are a non-medical Home and Community Based Service Provider that employs needed personal care staff in the home of elderly and disabled people to assist them with activities of daily living, transportation, personal care, and medication reminders/administration.
We are seeking a caregiver to work with an elderly woman in Gonzales. Client requires assistance with light housekeeping, transfers, ambulation, meal preparation, and personal care including toileting. Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Monday 7p-3a
Wed and Friday 2p-6p
Saturday 10p-2a
Hours will increase after 2 months.
Rate of pay: $8.25 per hour.
Must have the following
Qualifications:
Be at least eighteen (18) years old
Have a criminal background check clear of the crimes listed in the amended statute RS 40:1300.53
Not be listed on the Direct Service Worker Registry due to substantiated abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of an individual's property or funds
Not be excluded from working in a Medicare, Medicaid, or other Federal Health Care program
