Marketing Brand Manager-Must have Brand Management Experience

Primary Responsibility / Summary
Responsible for the development and management of all marketing needs for the company,
products and overall company in the professional and consumer marketplace.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Develop, maintain, and report on departmental budget for external and internal communications efforts
2. Manage the development, production and marketing of liquids, tools and additional products (Daily)
3. Analyzing the needs of our customers and the current marketplace
4. Work with manufacturers to initiate product development and design initial samples
5. Test and tweak samples until a final sample is approved
6. Work with vendors to source and develop appropriate product packaging and shipping materials
7. Write and translate product copy, manuals and warranty information
8. Manage graphics team to design products look and feel - colors, fonts, design elements, copy placement, shipping cartons, etc.
9. Work with graphics to approve all proofs for final production
10. Oversee the manufacturing of final product including coordinating production schedule, final sampling for sales and assisting in delivery
11. Manage Graphics Department Projects (Daily)
12. Work closely with graphics team to create product packaging, advertisements, marketing materials, etc.
13. Assign projects and assist in prioritizing and deadline management
14. Work with vendors to acquire die lines, specs and other graphic needs
15. Assist in the Launch of QVC Opportunities (Daily)
16. Develop products approved by QVC (See Development process above)
17. Work with factories to prepare all products to QVC spec including a multiple stage, pass/fail QA process
18. Work with factories to accommodate QVC's extensive sampling requirements
19. Oversee factory production and shipping schedule
20. Work with sales team and Product Central to review and approve all legal claims and protocol testing
21. Work with Sales and OAD to ensure proper and timely shipment of goods into QVC
22. Ensure talent has full understanding of all products and marketing story
23. Attend QVC filming to assist in product and marketing needs
24. Assist in Development and Management of Promotional Calendar (Weekly)
25. Work with management to select product line-up for promotional calendar
26. Create all promotional calendar materials for sales and customer services teams
27. Oversee production and shipment to ensure products deliver on time for promotions
28. Review calendar for updates and changes as needed
29. Release calendar and promotional materials to distributors for bi monthly catalogs
30. Manage Media and Advertising (Weekly)
31. Secure meetings with professional print and web media to develop advertising proposals
32. Work with management to select media and negotiate advertising plan
33. Organize and maintain annual advertising schedule
34. Propose products and ideas to place in each ad
35. Oversee design and proper submission of each ad
36. Work with Public Relations to coordinate editorial/advertising opportunities
37. Oversee website development and maintenance (Weekly)
38. Work with Web Developer to create and maintain website
39. Manage and create web pages as needed
40. Provide marketing copy, images and videos
41. Work with graphic to create web banners and images
42. Utilize website to sell product, communicate with and engage customers
43. Oversee the development of additional websites such as JCP shopping site for stylists
45. Social Media Development and Maintenance (Weekly)
46. Work in conjunction with Public Relations to engage social media audience
47. Deliver marketing messages and promotions
48. Review customer feedback in order to create educational materials such as YouTube videos, step by steps and how to's that address customer challenges and successes
49. Work with bloggers and YouTube reviewers to help review products and educate customers on proper use and style guides
50. Utilize new marketing campaign, interactive videos and posts, fan feedback and contests to gain larger audience and promote the company and its products
51. Engage audience to raise awareness and participation in events and promotions
52. Manage Photo Shoots (As needed, minimum annually)
53. Determine the need for a shoot
54. Develop campaign story - select looks, theme, etc.
55. Help interview and select talent
56. Manage on set details and logistics
57. Coordinate models for hair, make-up, wardrobe, photography
58. Work with photographer to achieve necessary looks
59. Secure releases for all working on the shoot
60. Review all raw material
61. Select final images
62. Work with graphics to place final images for banners, products and additional material
63. Manage Video Shoots (As needed, minimum quarterly for future)
64. Develop script and storyboard - How To, Step-by-Step, Get the Look, Product Education
65. Acquire proper tools and shoot materials ie: camera rentals, props, etc.
66. Select talent
67. Direct talent through each take to achieve necessary scenes
68. Review all raw footage and build the initial rough draft
69. Work with Web Developer to edit material
70. Select music, graphics and additional post production to complete final videos
71. Develop and Update Marketing/Sales Materials (As needed)
72. Materials include: Sales sheets, Deal Sheets, Brochures, Product Knowledge, etc.
73. Work with Publics Relations and graphics to develop bi-annual to bi-monthly Beauty Book (Future ongoing project)
74. Assist Sales Team in a variety of marketing needs (As needed)
75. Build presentations
76. Gather product information/images, price lists and customized promotions for distributors
77. Assist in answering distributor and customer inquiries from the field
78. Prepare materials for sales/distributor meetings
79. Represent the company through a variety of external events including:
80. Maintaining vendor relationships through overseas factory visits
81. National and International Tradeshows
82. Distributor and Sales meetings
83. Assist with Inventory Management
84. Review existing inventory with management team to determine re-orders
85. Help maintain SKUs, product descriptions and availability
86. Track SKU movement daily reportsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
