Job Description
Manufacturer of consumer products-high speed, high volume facility.
Duties:
Define, interpret and translate project and process requirements to determine required electrical specifications for design, process equipment and systems manufacturing. Design and program PLCs. (Allen Bradley)
Provide Electrical Engineering support in the form of project management, programming, electrical design, training, and troubleshooting to maximizing production efficiencies. Supervise 1 maintenance technician.
Ensures existing drawings and documentation of control systems and electrical equipment are accurate, overall support of plant quality system and documentation system.
Equipment and processes will include conveyors, pumps, mixers, furnaces, etc.
Will perform electrical component design for new production and process equipment, new capital projects and re-design for existing plant improvements.
Will coordinate designs and projects for utility equipment such as compressors, generators, turbines, chillers, boilers, etc.
Will coordinate outside vendor project activity to meet project timelines and production schedules.
Will interact with various plant personnel to include management and operators.
Must Haves
Requirements:
4 year degree: BSEE, BS CHEM ENG, BSME, BSIE, BSIT or BSMET
Min of 3-10 total engineering experience. Promotable type.
3-10 yrs of Electrical equipment component design experience using AUTOCAD.
PLC programming experience. Allen Bradley preferred.
Process Data systems and SPC experience desired. Documentation experience.
Experience with production, process and auxiliary equipment- design, modification and installation.
Experience with vendor coordination.
Computer skills: AutoCAD, MS Word, MS Project & MS Excel
Must have strong interaction skills and the flexibility not to over engineer a project.
Team leader and self-directed.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
