General Hours of Work:
Between 6:00am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday
Required
Qualifications:
Must be at least 17 years of age
Must have a high school diploma or GED
Must pass a TB test and criminal background check
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Ability to communicate effectively with young children and their families
Good understanding of child development, age appropriate behaviors, common childhood behavior problems and appropriate interventions
Ability to work as a positive and productive member of a team
Ability and willingness to continue personal and professional growth and skill development
Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner

Responsibilities:
Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing activities that support the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children
Maintain a clean, safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and promoting social relationships
Work in conjunction with the Lead Teacher to provide a well-organized classroom
Communicate effectively with families on a daily basis
Encourage parent participation in school programs, and attend family events whenever possible
Report problems of child or room management to the Director promptly
Maintain confidentiality of information related to home and school environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
