General Hours of Work:
Between 7:30am-6:30pm, Monday-Friday
Required
Qualifications:
Must be at least 19 years of age
Have a high school diploma or GED
Lead Teachers for infants and toddlers must have 3 semester hours or 4.5 CEUs in infant/toddler development and care practices within 6 months of hire
And meet 1 of the following
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in early childhood education, child development, or a child-related field
Associate's degree or higher in early childhood education or child development
Montessori credential with 480 hours of relevant experience
Valid child development associate credential (CDA) with 480 hours of relevant experience
High school diploma/GED with 12 semester hours of coursework in early childhood education, child development, or a child-related field
High school diploma/GED with a combination of 12 semester hours and/or 18 CEU's to equal 180 clock hours and 1,920 hours of relevant experience
High school diploma/GED with a combination of 6 semester hours and/or 9 CEUs to equal 90 clock hours with 3,840 hours of relevant experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:
Ability to develop and implement classroom curriculum that encourages the children's academic, social, emotional, and physical development
Ability to communicate effectively with young children and their families
Good understanding of child development, age appropriate behaviors, common childhood behavior problems and appropriate interventions
Ability to work as a positive and productive member of a team
Ability and willingness to continue personal and professional growth and skill development
Ability to represent the agency in a professional manner

Responsibilities:
Plan and implement activities that support the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the children
Write weekly lesson plans to be approved by Director
Create a clean, safe classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and promoting social relationships
Communicate effectively with families on a daily basis, as well as holding parent-teacher conferences at least twice a year and on an as-needed basis
Work with parents whenever possible to promote their understanding of growth and development of their child in school, encourage parent participation in school programs, and attend family events whenever possible
Keep records and portfolios of children to track their progress throughout their time in the classroom
Report problems of child or room management to the Director promptly
Evaluate the accomplishments of the children on a regular basis and reports progress to parents/guardians
Work in conjunction with the Assistant Teacher to provide a well-organized classroom
Maintain confidentiality of information related to home and school environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
