CNC Supervisor
Experienced CNC Supervisor needed for a Direct Hire position in the Carlsbad, CA area!! Trillium Staffing currently has an exciting direct hire position available for an experienced CNC Supervisor with our client in the Carlsbad, CA area. This position will be responsible to lead a team of CNC Machinists in the shop consisting of 3, 4 and 5 axis mills, lathes and grinders.
Other duties/responsibilities include:
-Running the department for supporting R&D in all CNC machining needs
-Maintaining 3D rapid print machines
-Lead the development and design of mold tooling and tooling systems capable of producing a product consistent with design specifications
-Provide written or verbal project status reports to team, manager, director and VP
-Actively participates in the specification, research, and selection of tooling and production equipment
-Lead R&D actively to continuously develop improved tooling and process solutions to improve quality, performance and time/cost manufacturing.
-Other duties as assigned Qualified candidates must possess:
-Degree in Mechanical Engineering required, Masters preferred
-10
years' experience in a CNC Supervisor role
-Experience in 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC machining
-Knowledge of machining, programming, grinding, welding and inspection methods for manufacturing of tooling
-Strong ability to program in Pro E and/or NX and MasterCam
-Strong communication skills
-Advanced skills in problem solving of molding and tooling systems/processes
