We are seeking a QA Director for our client near Deland, FL. Successful candidates with have experience at a director or senior manager level with (recent) experience within high-volume/low-cost manufacturing environments.
oProvides Quality support to manufacturing, engineering, and support operations through the administration, collection, analysis of data, and the industry standards associated with each product line.
oPlans, assigns, and adjusts work priorities to meet daily, weekly, monthly customer sales order requirements.
oMonitors and manages employee job performance such as attendance, quality, and productivity.
oEnsures that all Quality employees are properly trained and cross-trained as required.
oPrepares reports and makes presentations as required.
oHolds and attends meetings as required. Host biweekly Quality Metrics meeting.
oPerforms audits to ensure consistent and continued compliance with all processes and procedures.
oEncourages, participates, and leads in continuous improvement activities such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen.
oManages the QIR, MRB, and RMA process.
oPrimary interface with customer quality assurance representatives, internal/external quality system auditors, and internal functions requiring Quality support.
oMaintains the appropriate quality manual, which includes the initiation, review, and revision of OIs and CSOPs.
oManages the technical training required for IPC, J-STD-001, AF7209, and customer specific requirements.
oCoordinates with the New Product Introduction function to ensure the production intent activities allow for a smooth transition to sustaining production activities.
oEnsure that all assignments are performed in compliance with all applicable Federal, State, Provincial and Company safety and health regulations, and where applicable, proper personal protective equipment is utilized.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
