Tool and Die Maker -1st shift
Tool and Die Maker wanted to build, engineer, modify, fabricate and repair Class A metal stamping dies, tooling fixtures and other components as necessary for a Class A metal stamping facility responsible for manufacturing Class A metal stamped automotive components and subassemblies; build, install and test new or changes Class A metal stamping dies and tooling, etc.;
implement programs to perform scheduled preventative maintenance and to maintain quality engineering standards on all tooling and assure that all preventative maintenance and engineering records are properly completed and maintained; use industrial engineering knowledge to ensure that tools and dies are operating correctly; verify conformance of machines repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments; troubleshoot for problems during production; review engineering design changes and build, engineer and modify dies and tooling to conform to engineering changes; test and try-out die sets and tooling; and perform all other duties as required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
