Senior Solutions Architect to work at 176 South Street, Hopkinton, MA 01748 and various unanticipated worksites within the U.S.
Job Duties: Provide technical and/or business consultative services during the pre-sales and/or post-sales cycle. May provide technical or business analytical subject matter expertise for specific product group or business objectives in order to engage the customer or implement and maintain an engagement.
Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in any relevant engineering field plus five years of post-degree progressive experience, involving: designing data center network connectivity and deploying, configuring and maintaining SAN directors and switches using Fabric Manager/Device Manager, CISCO CLI for CISCO, Webtools, DCFM and Brocade CLI for Brocade; data migration using array based tools such as Open Replicator, SRDF, SanCopy and host based PPME, Open Migrator, LVM mirroring and RoboCopy; designing the migration methods for Clustered environments like Sun, VERITAS, Oracle RAC and Windows Clusters. Included must be 1 year of experience, involving: managing storage arrays using SymCLI, SMC and ECC for Symmetrix, NavisecCLI, Navisphere Manager and Unisphere Manager for Clariion and VNX arrays; designing NAS solutions using VNX unified Arrays and Isilon; designing infrastructure solutions for ERP (SAP, Oracle, SQL) projects; performance monitoring of the Symmetrix arrays collecting WLA revolving data and generating the performance metrics using Ionix control center and performance manager; and, implementing, operating and troubleshooting RecoverPoint with both Clariion and Symmetrix. Travel to various unanticipated worksites within U.S. required. Telecommuting available depending on circumstances.
