Description:
The MDOL MRM Consortium is a large scale 5 year multimillion dollar project designed to replace Bureau of Unemployment systems with a 3 state consortium (ME,MI,RI) driven application hosted in the cloud. This project is in its second year and the work needed is growing to exceed the capability of the single pm assigned to the project. Also, MDOL SMEs assigned to the project require assistance from time to time to hit project deadlines. This role will assist the ME MDOL Project Manager in coordination of project related tasks including creation of a RFP for application related printing contracts of ME and MI and assist with selection and contracting Additional purchasing tasks will be assigned over the duration of the contract.

Job Description:
PM position supporting the current PM of MDOL MRM Consortium project with a variety of project coordination, research and contract management tasks. First assignment will include research and selection of a printing vendor to support consortium Project. May be assigned tasks to assist MDOL SME; s in project related tasks.
The PM must be an experienced senior PM with an excellent track record in working with government related agencies, with at least 5-6 years experience.
The PM must also need to be able to balance the process elements of Project Management with the interpersonal elements of working with a caregiver agency culture. The ability to build strong client relationships and show empathy while still advancing the project work is important.
The right PM will have experience in a range of PM methodology including the use of agile Project Management.
Excellent written and oral communications skills are required. Candidates will be asked to provide examples of the past work products.
Intermediate Project Management experience required (4+yrs): Experience PM role in support of a large project
Intermediate Financial/Accounting experience preferred (2+yrs): Experience in research, implementation of an RFP process and assisting with contracting.
