Yahoo currently has a Compensation Manager position available at our office in Sunnyvale, CA.
DUTIES: As a member of global compensation team, the compensation program manager will be responsive for providing support in development, implementation and administration of Yahoo compensation programs. The program manager will be customer service oriented and self-directed, and will work closely with members of the Global Compensation team, Human Resource Business Partners and members of management, in addition to supporting Yahoo programs will be responsible for project management of selected key projects to ensure projects are is completed within a defined scope, time and constraint. Compose compensation market data composites from multiple survey sources to formulate recommended pay levels and to conduct competitive analyses. Manage all aspects of the annual mid-year compensation update from initiation through delivery Participate in communicating the program and training HR on this program. Manage the reporting and roll-up reporting requirements of the program and deliver reports to HR Leadership. Participate in HR technology maintenance, implementation and improvement projects related to compensation. Participate in the management of annual compensation focal review projects. Conduct analysis and review of various worldwide compensation programs and propose improvements to senior leaders. Assess effectiveness of the companys compensation programs based on our pay-for-performance philosophy. Create and execute project work plans and revise plans as appropriate to meet the ever changing project needs and requirements. Keep Human Resources and line management stakeholders informed of key issues and changes which may impact expected business results.
REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Business Administration, Finance, Statistics or related field.
Education and/or experience must include:
1. Computer Programming
1. Macros VBA programming
2. Information Systems Experience Systems administration and Support
2. Financial Modeling in a complex multi variable environment
3. Predictive Compensation Algorithm Modeling
4. Executive and Equity Compensation
5. Functional experience in program and project management
6. Driving multiple initiatives at a rapid pace and making thoughtful recommendations with incomplete data
7. Strategic problem solving and ability to consult at all levels of the organization
8. Logically structuring, analyzing and algorithmizing problems
9. Project management and project management tools (MS Project), systems and procedures
10. Statistical Analytics of HR Data (people data attributes and applicable quantitative methods)
11. Organizational and planning skills.
