?Job Duties:
Performs scheduling of all procedures for Radiology, Cardiology, Labor & Delivery, Endoscopy, EEG, Respiratory, Sleep Lab, Preadmissions, Special Procedures, Same Day Surgery and Physician Specialty Practices. Completes pre-registration at the point of scheduling for all procedures and completes insurance verification process for our patients preferred. The following are required
High school graduate or equivalent
Demonstrated computer skills and data entry experience
Knowledge and understanding of hospital ambulatory services
Medical terminology required (within 6 months of hire, transfer, or promotion).
Post secondary education, experience in hospital admissions, coding, and/or scheduling of hospital ambulatory services, including scheduling of physician practice visits preferred.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
