Quality Assurance Representative / Engineering Tech IV (Secret Clearance)


Work Location: NBVC Pt. Mugu, CA

Roles &
Responsibilities:
Experienced Quality Assurance Representative with Naval Aviation background desired.
Should have a good understanding of organizational level quality assurance roles and responsibilities in an aircraft or UAV operations and maintenance work environment.
Familiar with Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).
Basic understanding of ISO 9000 desired but not required.
Must possess a working knowledge of trade policies, safety regulations, practices, and procedures for HAZMAT operations.

Minimum of five years experience in military positions or civilian equivalent as a Quality Assurance Inspector and thorough knowledge of 4790 required.
Ability to have knowledge or rapidly learn BQM-34, BQM-74, AQM-37 and other on-coming target maintenance procedures and target functions.

Travel required on a routine basis INCONUS and occasional OCONUS mission support but work location will normally be NAWCWD Point Mugu.
Ordnance handling required.

Education/Experience/Skills:
High School Diploma or equivalent .
Formal military training or trade school equivalent on-the-job training commensurate with QAR duties.
5 years previous experience performing naval aviation maintenance programs.
Previous ordnance certification desirable.
Computer experience using Microsoft Office Excel, Word and PowerPoint (or equivalent software).
Ability to interpret technical manuals.
Verbal and writing skills required.

Current CA Driver License.

U.S. Citizenship and must have current SECRET clearance with PR completed in the last 4 years. Must provide an updated sf86.

All candidates will be required to pass a consumer report and/or consumer investigation to include SSN, Driver Record and Criminal Background Investigation.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
