We are looking for energetic and passionate individuals who possess the skills necessary to be productive in a laid back environment. You will be expected to build relationships with regular customers while making new customers feel like they've been coming here for years in order to drive sales and meet business goals.
This is a position that requires flexibility, both in schedule and the ability to complete a wide variety of tasks that come up on a day to day basis. You will be expected to learn and retain a large amount of information about cigars in a timely fashion, so that you can appropriately help any customers with their questions.
Being locally owned and operated, Famous is always looking for ways to improve their operation, so if you come ready to work and show initiative there is great potential for your own career growth. The shop itself is part of a very large operation involving the online and catalog sales side, so there are avenues that you can take to advance your career in a variety of directions.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Work with team to implement sales strategies in order to meet sales goals
Learn and share product knowledge with customers
Staying organized in keeping track of inventory and sales, even when busy
Ability to adapt to shifting responsibilities as assigned by your manager
Skills and Specifications:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills when dealing with customers and within the company
Must possess strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Must be a team player that understands their role in continuing to improve Famous and meet goals set by the company
Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree
At least 2 years in hospitality and/or customer service
Experience in a sales driven environment
Compensation:
Competitive Hourly Rate
Opportunity for commission and bonuses on a monthly basis
Excellent benefits including medical, dental, and vision
