Missouri Military Academy is seeking a Director of Development/Institutional Advancement.
Missouri Military Academy (MMA) is a boy's preparatory grade 6-12 boarding school with a military tradition that empowers boys and young men to unlock their full potential through a structured program of academic excellence, character development and leadership training. MMA has a sizable endowment and is considered to be one of the best military schools in the United States.
Position Summary
This is a key leadership position at Missouri Military Academy (MMA). This position will provide strong leadership for the overall fundraising, alumni relations and parent relations at the school, working closely with the President / CEO, Board of Trustees, and Chair of the Development Committee. The qualified candidate will be responsible for formulating and executing the development strategy, managing the professional advancement staff and coordinating all fundraising activities, including identification of prospects, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship.
Responsibilities
Build a full-scale, modern development program that includes alumni and parent relations; annual fund, planned gifts; corporate and foundation relations; research; gift processing; donor relations and stewardship; and other fundraising support operations.
Develop a major gifts program that brings newEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
