Director of Surgical Services

Successful acute care hospital in Riverside County seeks a Director of Surgical Services to oversee all inpatient and outpatient surgical services activities of the facility. The Director has accountability for the efficient, cost-effective organization and direction of all Surgical Services for the hospital. This includes the Surgery Department, and the Post Anesthesia Care Unit and Central Sterile.
Job duties include:
Manage the activities of the departments assigned so that services are performed in a manner that contributes to the quality and cost effectiveness of the hospital's operations.
Develop, implement, and carry out a plan for financial resources that will meet budget targets and revenue projections in accordance with organizational needs.
Develop, utilize, maintain, and manage an appropriate number of qualified staff to provide competent, compassionate, efficient, and professional services.
Serve as coach and mentor to promote a team approach to work, encourage problem solving and decision making at the lowest appropriate level, optimize the contribution of every individual, provide for efficient department operation, and increase job satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must have a CA RN license and at least two years experience in perioperative services along with evidence of leadership skills, successful interpersonal relations, and accepting increased responsibility in supervision, administration, and education. Two years clinical experience in specialty area and member of at least one professional nursing organization. Prefer BSN and previous mgmt or supv experience in the OR.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
