SOCIAL WORKER (HOMELESS & VETERANS JUSTICE CASE MANAGER)

The Marion, Illinois VA Medical Center is seeking a full time Licensed Clinical Social Worker (Homeless and Justice Services) to join Behavioral Medicine Service at the Marion VA Medical Center in Marion, IL.
The incumbent will perform a variety of duties to include but not limited to:
Completing clinical assessments and treatments including individual, group, or family psychotherapy.
Providing crisis intervention, advocacy, coordination of linkages to other VA or community service providers/agencies as needed by the Veteran.
Interviewing Veterans, conducting Drug/Alcohol/Mental Health intakes.
Preparing written assessments, making appropriate referrals to community or other professional resources.
Establishing and maintaining effective therapeutic relationships with veterans and/or their families.
Participating in the substance use interdisciplinary treatment team and in the development of comprehensive individual treatment plans.
Work Schedule:
8:
00 am to 4:
30 pm, Monday through Friday, with rotation for weekends/nights.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
