Facilities Manager

POSITION
Summary:
The Facilities Program Coordinator will manage the day to day operation and maintenance of the client's facility in a safe, fiscally responsible and compliant manner. The Facilities Program Coordinator is expected to contribute to the development and implementation of the strategic plan for maintaining and operating the facility. The position is responsible for the mentoring, work performance and technical development of the program team as well as the coordination and assignment of projects and services, with optimal efficiency, through effective leadership. The Facilities Program Coordinator is expected to operate autonomously and professionally in all areas of responsibility, and with all levels within the client's organization.
Key
Responsibilities:
Oversee the daily operations of the Program.
Manage all activities of the team and integrate with other departments within the client's facility.
Ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations.
Effectively communicate and collaborate regularly with client's stakeholders within the organization to ensure program objectives are being met.
Supervise the planning, budgeting and control of operation expenses.
Plan, develop and administer annual budgets, forecasts, management plans, monthly performance reports and variance reports. Maintain strict control of operating expenses.
Supervise the onsite management of employees to ensure optimum performance.
Monitor the team's performance through use of objective metrics reported at least on a monthly basis.
Develop, mentor and empower team to reach their full potential, both technically and professionally
Proactively evaluate current and future services and support and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
Perform regular inspections of the facility and recommend and direct improvements, maintenance and repairs as directed by the client.
Contract for vendor services.
Maintain key relationships with clients, tenants, the local Building Official, and other government agencies.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Manage work load with effective balance of internal and external resources including integrated facilities management models and organized labor.
Preferred
Qualifications:
BA/BS in Engineering, Facilities Management or related discipline with 5-7 years of relevant experience showing steady progression through positions of increasing responsibility
Facilities/Maintenance/Metrology management in regulated environment.
Experience with multiple building, campus or R&D/Office complex in a rural setting.
Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems such as SAP and Building Management Systems such as Metasys.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong interpersonal skills including the demonstrated ability to manage through influence.
Strong business and financial expertise including budget accountability.
Prior experience managing maintenance and operations in regulated and GxP spaces is a plus.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
