Bookkeeper / Office Manager

We will be hiring a highly motivated, self starter and organized Bookkeeper / Office Manager for our growing HVAC Testing, Adjusting and Balancing firm in Auburn, NH. This is a full-time office position and reports to the Controller (CFO) and the President. A minimum of 10 years of bookkeeping experience is required plus construction accounting skills. Duties consist of, but are not limited to:
job cost accounting
Basic HR functions
Time sheet reconciliation
Payroll (certified, prevailing wages, etc)
Customer contract review
CC receipt tracking and reconciliation
Office management functions
Company growth oriented projects.
Assist in opening field offices
Fill in the gaps for broad level decisions
Assist with marketing / advertising functions
Web site updates / company news
Travel arrangements
Company uniform maintenance
Fleet vehicle maintenance
Implementing operational policies and procedures on a companywide level


About you:

The successful candidate will be able to spearhead their work independently for various projects while still functioning in a team environment. The candidate must be able to multitask and prioritize their daily responsibilities. Key attributes are:

Smart phone savvy, preferably I-Phone (all of our field technicians use I-pads to perform their job)

Appreciates a paperless company (as best as possible)
Understands and supports change to make processes more efficient
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
