Facility Maintenance Technician
Job Responsibilities1.
Able to work either 12 hour day or 12 hour night shift2.
Maintains, troubleshoots and services all plant equipment.
3.
Restarts production by troubleshooting breakdowns and making repairs.
4.
Monitors reliabilities and scrap on production equipment.
5.
Adheres to the plant preventives maintenance program as outlined in PICS and follows proper work order procedures.
6.
Locates parts efficiently and effectively utilizing proper parts room checkout procedures.
7.
Attends required training sessions to increase knowledge base.
8.
Rebuild and repair spare parts.
9.
Performs all assigned work in a safe manner, upholding Plastipak Environmental, Health and Safety Policy.
10.
Performs product changeover on all plant equipment and verifies processes are reliably operating to achieve plantmeasurables.
11.
Involved in installation projects and/or modifications.
12.
Responsible for maintaining ISO standards.
13.
Miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.
14.
Responsible for reporting food safety issues to personnel with authority to initiate actionSkills/Qualifications1.
Understanding of Utilities/ Compressors/ Chillers/ Cooling Towers/ Blowmolders/ Injection Processes2.
2-year degree or prior work experience.
3.
Team oriented in all job functions.
4.
Self-motivated and flexibility of job assignment.
5.
Blend of technical, interpersonal skills and continuous learning through training.
6.
Strong mechanical and electrical skills.
7.
Basic computer skills.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
