Hospitalist - Medical Director
This Regional Medical Center in southeast GA has opened a search for a Hospitalist who will join five other excellent Hospitalists as the Director of the medical center Hospitalist Program.
This is an immediate opening created by growing demand from our ever expanding service area.
The selected candidate will be employed within the health system family of corporations and we currently employ approximately 75 excellent providers who could basically practice anywhere in the country.
We have full pulmonary, critical care, orthopedic, GS, interventional cardiology coverage in a state-of-the-art medical center.
The current schedule is 7 on and 7 off and our hospitalists see an average of 20 patients a day.
There will be an excellent signing bonus and the base salary will be $350,000.
These numbers will be determined by the credentials of the candidate selected.
Our benefit package is second to none including full relocation.
The selected candidate must have experience as a hospitalist and leadership experience is preferred.
In addition to the leadership role, the ideal candidate will be responsible to carry his/her clinical load as one of six Hospitalists.
There are probably very few rural hospitals/systems like ours in the country.
We have gone from 350 employees to 1,100 in the last several years.
We have a substantial number of specialists who are supported by the regional primary care base.
The hospital continues to expand as a regional medical center, We will do whatever is necessary to land the candidate we want.
We are a great family community, 90 minutes from the coast, no smog, snow, traffic and every doctor who has moved here will say the schools are good.
We are the medical center of choice in our region.
We have the newest and most modern hospital in the SE with technology most metropolitan hospitals have yet to purchase.
