Job Description
The Safety Data Programmer is responsible for providing programming support to internal customers. The Programmer performs complex SQL database searches that cannot be performed using the Adverse Event application software. Additionally, the Safety Data Programmer is responsible to ensure that search algorithms are clearly and consistently documented and that quality checks are completed to ensure high quality output. May be asked to help migrate Oracle functions, procedures and packages from a custom safety system to the Oracle 7.x Argus Safety System.
Required Qualification
4 - 6 years programming experience is required.
Minimum of two years experience supporting drug/pharma organization is required.
Demonstrable strong and extensive Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a small in-house team.
Previous pharmaceutical experience required.
Proven problem solving abilities.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
BS Computer Science (or related experience).
Previous Oracle Argus experience and/or Oracle OBIEE experience a plus.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
