Printer Operator - IBM-4100 Printer (Laser Continuous)

Labor Temps is recruiting Printer Operators for our growing client located in Northlake, IL. We are looking for experienced operators to operate a IBM-4100 Printer (Laser Continuous). This is a long term to hire position. Pay rate depends on experience.
POSITION: Digital Print Operator
DEPARTMENT: Solo Mail / Laser Dept.
ROLE:
To produce printed mail piece products from Continuous black (IBM 4100 Simplex / Duplex Laser) and Cut sheet Color (Kodak NexPress) printing equipment.
Responsibilities:
Receive and interpret print work instructions from sources designed to communicate print requirements by written work instruction and / or verbal communication.
Prepare equipment setup for the purpose of operating and generating printed sheet or continuous roll product.
Operate printing equipment producing printed sheet or roll product for subsequent finishing operations.
Investigate and correct minor print quality matters.
Communicate effectively any causes or concerns for print related matters to Print Supervision.
Communicate effectively to outside sources for investigation and correction of major print quality matters.
Plus, perform other duties as assigned in Laser Print/Solo Mail Dept.
REQUIREMENTS/
Qualifications:
Have HS diploma or equivalent.
General working knowledge of printing equipment operation 1-2 years experience.
Ability to read and interpret measurements, sizes and dimensions on a standard ruler from provided print examples.
Ability to recognize and interpret error messages and codes from Print equipment display screens.
Be able to push, pull or lift up to 50lbs.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
