Accounting Specialist

Bioray's Accounting Specialist is responsible for driving the bookkeeping and mid-level accounting functions. You are a resourceful problem solver that is focused on supporting our business operations and growth. You confidently take on projects and drive them to completion. You prefer being a key part of a team over working in isolation. You put the needs of the customer first. You actively take on new challenges and assignments. You are eager to work with people across all departments of the company and contribute your unique skills and abilities.
Process distributor, wholesale, and export orders.
Ensure all monthly business and financial activity has been recorded and reconciled accurately in QuickBooks.
Owning Accounts Payable process
Reconcile monthly financial data to statements and assist in preparing financial statements
Provide support to management, business development, marketing and other internal customers as needs arise, including ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects
Assist the Operations & Finance Manager in developing the finance department's roles within the company.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Finance
2-3 years total experience in accounting.
Experience managing multiple/complex revenue streams
QuickBooks, Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Google Apps.
High attention to detail with excellent organizational/project management skills and the ability to lead and drive complex initiatives
Superior problem solving, time management and analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compensation:
$20-24/hr, amount based upon experience
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
