Assistant Property Accountant Metro Boston
Growing Property Management Company is looking for a talented Accountant that has strong experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This candidate will be responsible for posting property invoices, checking payables for accuracy, and executing bi-weekly check runs and some financial reporting duties.
Responsibilities:
Provide Full Cycle Accounts Payable including coding, auditing, posting to A/P system, payment, and filing. The Accounts Payable process is a paperless process
Maintain all aspects of Accounts Receivable including posting of cash receipts, bank deposits, posting and reconciling charges and adjustments
Prepare and perform bi-weekly check runs
Communicate and interact with Property Managers and others to resolve questions regarding financial data, vendor issues and tenant account status
Assist in preparing quarterly reserve requests
Provide coverage as necessary for Reception, including operating switchboard, maintaining access to building, and greeting visitors.
Qualifications:
Need to be strong with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook
Degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus
Experience with Yardi or Timberline is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter, strong follow through and attention to detail



Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
