CHSi has a full time Medical Review Nurse opening in our Cape Canaveral, FL office.
SCOPE:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the initial chart review on a medical exam/screening program. Works directly with physicians and candidates to ensure all medical information is gathered for a final medical determination of employment eligibility/examination satisfaction. Reports to the Nurse or Program Manager.
Qualifications:
Fully unencumbered nursing license in the state of FL is required. Bachelor's degree, COHN-S, CAOHC, and/or case management experience a plus. Proficiency with computer and common office equipment, as well as with MS Office products required. Must be able to multitask, be flexible, be organized and have excellent oral and written communication skills as well as exceptional attention to detail.
DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
o Performs medical review of incoming charts to determine if additional medical information is needed.
o Collaborates with physician(s) and other internal nursing staff members for chart review
o Performs Quality Assurance (QA) on all charts in various process stages.
o Interfaces with client's Medical Department as well as the on-site provider.
o Contacts examinee via telephone or email to clarify information necessary to complete the chart.
o Develops a very good understanding of the specific contract's guidelines and addendums as
o Masters the various software programs specific to the functioning of the exam program.
o Implements and follows up on requests for further evaluation from examinee when required.
o Works closely with other departments to provide accurate and quality outcomes.
o Thoroughly cognizant of metrics and organizes workload to meet them.
o Consistently learns and applies codified state and federal regulations specific to particular contract(s).

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
