Scope:
Mindseeker is looking for qualified IP (inpatient) facility coders to join our team. Work from your home office anywhere in the United States if you have a minimum of 2 years current IP experience and a current CCS / RHIT or RHIA AHIMA certification.
This is for a prestigious 4 hospital system in NJ and a 7 Hospital system in PA
Above average case mix (CMI), average length of stay (LOS) is 5-6 days but could be 1-14 days.
All positions are remote and full time 40 hours per week.
Coders need to have Windows based computer/laptop with dual monitors. No XP operating system. No MAC.
Coders will report to the account coding manager.
Must be able to code 3 charts per hour with 95% and above accuracy
3M Encoder experience preferred
Tasks/
Responsibilities:
Work from your home office anywhere in the United States if you have a minimum of 2 years IP experience and a current Certified Coding Specialist CCS/RHIT/or RHIA/AHIMA certification.
Positions available are immediate & FULL-TIME is the current need!

Hourly contractor (W2 hourly) with no benefits
Corp to Corp (independent contractor) if you have a corporate entity and proper company insurance. IC (independent contractors) must have professional liability insurance.
ICD-10: Training will be provided at no cost.

Skills/Requirements:
1.Applicant must haves
a.Either CCS, RHIT, or RHIA AHIMA Certification required
b.2 years minimum / 3 years current IP (DRG) Facility coding
c.Med / Surg,Ortho (fracture) - broad spectrum of medical service types - experience
d.FULL TIME 40 HOURS per week
e.Adequate equipment (no XP), Windows based PC or laptop w/external 2 monitor (s)
i.No MAC equipment must be Windows-based -- Hospital wants WINDOWS 7
f.Applicant advised must have ability / technology to code 3 charts per hour
g.Applicant advised must maintain quality level of 95% or greaterEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
