Physician Assistant (Hospitalist)
This position is in the Medical Service at the Martinsburg VAMC.
Adherence to established Medical Center policies and procedures as well as the VA DirectivesDemonstrates leadership and accomplishments when providing support to the Chief of Medicine, Medical Service, and Medical Subspecialty Staff.
Provides assistance to representatives to various department/services within the VA organization.
Implements and complies with administrative review of the service's operations to assure compliance with all internal and external review requirements.
Clinical management of patients may include skills necessary for the stabilization of acute complications and may include the initiation of basic life support.
Patient education is primarily provided in an interactive setting which requires good interpersonal skills.
Shall be accountable for all clinical duties and assignments under the direction of the Chief of Medicine when deemed necessary.
