We currently have a full-time IT & Facilities Technician position available for immediate hire. This is expected to be a mid-level experienced position. Position
Summary:
The IT & Facilities Technician is responsible for assisting with IT support throughout various departments, office equipment supply purchasing and inventory tracking. This individual will also assist with various administrative duties, and new employee system integration responsibilities. In this role you must obtain basic skills in providing desktop support in a professional atmosphere, and ability to prioritize responsibilities under minimal supervision.
Responsibilities:

Perform maintenance and desk side duties in office and warehouse environments
Perform preventive maintenance on various technology equipment
Maintain JIRA ticketing queue requests as assigned
Maintain various inventories and assets
Apply software updates as necessary
Perform various facilities maintenance duties; Change light bulbs, paint, & fix minor repairs
Manage care for building and office furniture and equipment
The scope of work includes environments in an office, warehouse and outdoors as required
Assist with purchasing and implementation of new servers, technology, etc.
Work with outside vendors and schedule appointments as needed
Provide user level training on daily applications used, including, but not limited to: MS Office products, Adobe Acrobat, and other basic computer-related skills.
Assist with end user system updates and monitoring including: spyware removal and testing, virus checking, ensuring back up of data files, etc.
Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with iPods, Socket scanners, product return authorizationsand logging issues
Assist in the warehousing operation as needed by management
Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested


Qualifications:

Working knowledge of Windows XP and Windows 7 including Microsoft Office, and Google products
Must have basic knowledge of various networking systems concepts including email, firewall, client-servers, network security, network protocols, etc.
Previous experience with computer and printer maintenance repair
Work independently and assist with multiple projects, priorities, and locations
Work under pressure with interruptions and challenging deadlines
Knowledge of Mac OS, MacBook, iOS, Jira, etc. a plus
Possesses the ability to effectively multi-task and track projects
Critical thinking and analytical troubleshooting skills are a must
Ability to learn and understand the specific needs of the business
Individual must have high integrity and the ability to take ownership of their role
Ability to present information on IT and Facilities topics in front of large audiences


Physical Demands:

Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head
Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds
Ability to lift and move totes up to 49 pounds each
Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation
Continual standing and/or walking without limitations up to 10 hours daily
Ability to work in construction /distribution environments that may be noisy, unheated, not air-conditioned


Hours/Info:
Monday - Friday
7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Must be available weekends and evenings as needed on occasion.

Pay Rate Range $14.00 - $16.00 hourly - Based on experience

Employees will be subject to a background check and drug screening

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
