Activites Director
Courtland Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a full-time Activities Director to direct, plan, coordinate, and implement the Center's activities program. Responsibilities include patient assessment and care planning for activities, as well as management of the recreational program to include creating a monthly calendar, providing therapeutic activities, and encouraging patient involvement.
Minimum Requirements: An associates degreed (2 years) individual who qualifies as an activities professional via:
(1) two years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last five years one of which was full-time in a patient activities program in a healthcare setting, or
(2) certification by the National Council for Activity Professionals, or
(3) completion of a state-approved activities training course.
