CNC Setup/Programmer
Express Employment Professionals in Howell is looking for CNC Programmers.
2nd shift
Responsibilities
Set up CNC lathes and/or mills
Edit programs to ensure processes are complete and quality of parts are met
Adjust machine controls and change tool settings in order to keep dimensions within specified tolerances
Move controls to set cutting speeds and depths, feed rates, and to position tools in relation to work-pieces
Position, secure and align cutting tools in tool-holders on machines using hand tools and verify their positions with measuring instruments.
Accurately document measured results and production information
Read and interpret blue prints
Qualifications
GD&T experience
Strong attention to details
Excellent math skills, including trigonometry
Good communication/interpersonal skills
Preference for candidate with experience setting up 5-axis Makino and 4-axis Robodrill
Experience/Education
3-5 years of relevant experience
High school diploma or GED
Formal technical training preferred
