Electrician Helper
ELECTRICIAN HELPER/APPRENTICE
Help electricians perform duties in the electrical trade, as well as learn the trade. Duties will include using tools, supplying or holding materials or tools, cleaning work areas, and equipment.
Requirements:
Willing to learn and take directions from Foremen and electricians.
Work with hand tools to measure, cut, and bend conduit for electricians.
Pull electrical branch circuit wiring using a fish tape.
Drill holes using power tools.
Thread conduit, install couplings, connectors, straps, using hand tools.
Disassemble defective electrical equipment, replace defective or worn parts, assemble light fixtures or other electrical equipment.
Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment.
Maintain parts and supplies in order.
Erect electrical system components and barricades, rig scaffolds, hoist, and shoring.
Perform semi-skilled and unskilled laboring duties related to the installation and repair of a wide variety of electrical systems and equipment
Excavate trenches or holes for the installation of conduit or equipment.
Raise, lower, or position equipment, material, or tools, using hoist, hand line, or block and tackle.
Other job duties required or needed include housekeeping, delivery of materials to/from job sites.
Complete a drug screen.
Have a clean background, able to obtain access to Military Installations.
