Applications Engineer, Automotive Products
Summary:
Engineer is responsible for design, development and
proper application of automotive products to meet customer's functional
requirements. This involves managing several application projects
simultaneously with numerous customers.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for design, development and completion of
validation of prototype and production level components.
Proper application may require development of new designs
or modifications to current products to insure product robustness.
Regularly interfaces with Manufacturing, Quality &
Test Engineers and Program Management to address all aspects of product design
and function and insure smooth production launch.
Continuous improvement efforts to reduce costs, improve
designs and increase productivity.
Works from requirements or instructions to design and
develop new components or redesign existing components to improve company
products.
Determines and establishes specifications through
engineering calculations and layouts.
Oversees assembly and tests of engineering prototypes.
Develops accurate complex designs, layouts, and stack-ups
of individual parts or assemblies.
Determines critical dimension and tolerance information.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and
over 5 years minimum of application or related engineering experience.
Strong understanding of product design concepts &
processes, drafting principles & standards, GD&T.
Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to
effectively interact with customers and all levels of the management team.
Strong failure analysis and failure prevention skills; Working
knowledge of statistical methods.
Automotive background and knowledge of TS16949 a plus.
Must be available to travel periodically with minimal
notification.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
