About this Opportunity: TRC Staffing is hiring for a temporary position as Materials Handler that is responsible for kitting, handling, and storing material. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operating material handling equipment, reviewing documents for completeness, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Essential Functions:
Material Kitting
Maintaining Accurate Inventory Counts
Material Transactions in ERP Software (Syteline)
Perform Basic Math Calculations (Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide)
Excellent Communication Skills
Supervisory Requirements:
Work under close supervision.
May receive direction from group leader.
No direct reports.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Prior experience in materials handling, inventory control, and/or stock room
H.S. Diploma
Prior experience with ERP software preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of FIFO Processes
Basic Inventory Control Processes
MS Excel - At least intermediate level skills preferred
Physical Demands:
Stand, sit, kneel, bend, reach and fine manipulation required frequently, must be able to lift/carry up to 75 lbs, push and pull up to 75 lbs.
Other Physical Requirements:
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work Environment:
Moderate noise levels.
Typical light manufacturing environment.
