TRC Staffing Services is now hiring for a Director of Supply Chain Manager, this is a direct hire placement with a client in the Deland area
Position
Summary: Under the direction of the COO, the Director of Supply Chain has multiple responsibilities to ensure that the supply chain, purchasing, material and logistics processes, procedures and ongoing efforts produce results that exceed customer expectations.
Position reports to: President or other designated Manager
Essential Functions:
Create and implement a robust supply chain and materials strategy.
Implement programs to optimize inventory turnover while mitigating inventory exposure and reducing risk for both client and the customer. These activities include implementation of contractual excess and obsolescence terms with the customer as well as supplier managed inventory programs.
Leverage clients organization in support of strategic procurement initiatives in an effort to maximize cost reduction. Measure and report on project status both internally and to the customer
Develop Commodity management strategy and focus within organization
Support client team on critical material expedite requests. Mitigate expedite requests through improved methods and practices
Direct customer quotation requirements. Lead clients Quotation Group during the quotation process to ensure all Bill's of Material are competitive, support the defined supply chain strategy, and minimize clients exposure to inventory impacted by quoted pricing.
Lead purchasing activities associated with New Product Introduction and ongoing production efforts. Complete line item source awards, new supplier development, and item-master upload.
Ensure the highest ethical standards of integrity and professionalism are adhered to in the procurement process in accordance with company requirements.
Conduct Risk analysis, and target price analysis on component level material. This analysis includes reporting/tracking of liability issues based on unique designs, lead-times and forecast changes

Ongoing customer supply chain strategies:
Maximize material margins (PPV)
Improve inventory Turns
Cost Competitiveness requirements
Optimization of supply base

Customer cost management:
Cost reduction programs and commitments
Managing customer quotation requests.
Ensure consistency, competitiveness, and ability to execute
Lowest cost of acquisition analysis

Flexibility/Assurance of Supply:
Risk analysis
Lead-time reduction programs
Flexibility and buffer stock programs
Support critical expedite requests

Customer Commodity Management:
Performance evaluation of supply base
Support customer design requirements for new products
Customer forecast analysis/contract compliance
Alert and develop a plan for adverse market condition or supply interruption
Second source opportunities for cost reduction or flexibility
Localization of the supply chain, as necessary

Supervisory Requirements:
Will supervise supply chain personnel including purchasing, quoting and other employees essential to supply chain.

Education/Experience Requirements:
Degree in Engineering / Business Administration or related field with minimum 7 years hands-on purchasing, supply chain management, and inventory control experience in a electronics manufacturing environment. At least 3 years in a leadership capacity. Exposure to a global electronics manufacturing company is preferred.
APICS certified; CPIM, CSCP
Experience should include the areas of MRP planning, strategic & tactical purchasing, all facets of inventory management, as well as the financial background that can associate these activities to the financial performance of a business.
The ideal candidate should have a track record of enhancing the supply chain as measured by reduced cost, improved delivery, and the implementation of successful strategies.




Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experienced negotiating skills specific to achieving favorable prices and services.
Strong organization, planning, and tactical execution abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication ability.
Understanding of supply chain management, the contract electronic manufacturing business and practices, as well as automated and manual procurement systems.
Proficiency in ERP and PC applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point.
Able to work independently and as a team player, results oriented and meticulous in performing job with high integrity.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
