Diesel Mechanic
Responsibilities:
Bumper-to-bumper preventive maintenance service and/or repair to tractor and trailer
Preventive maintenance inspection
Electrical troubleshooting
Brake system repair
Tire maintenance
Minor diesel engine repair
Air conditioning system repair
Tire & Wheel, Heavy Duty Brake System and A/C Certifications are a plus
ASE Certifications are a plus
Diesel Mechanic Pay and

Averitt Diesel Mechanic Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age
Valid driver's license
Clean driving record
Must meet all qualifications outlined in our application

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
