Chief Medical Director

As the Chief Medical Director, you will direct and coordinate the medical management, quality improvement and credentialing functions in support of the strategic plan, establishing the company's vision, policies and procedures. This individual will serve as clinical advisor and educator of medical management staff to ensure correct clinical determinations are made. The Chief Medical Director will also oversee medical review guidelines to make sure clinical integrity and compliance measures are upheld.
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
Licensed Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) in the state of Illinois
Board Certification through the American Board of Medical Specialists
Volunteer patient care required
Previous supervisory or management experience in a managed care setting preferred
SALARY:
Up to $300,000 / year (DOE)
