Billing & Accounts Payable Clerk
Position Description:
The Billing & Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible to daily invoicing to customers, receiving inbound freight into our inventory management system and assembling vendor invoices into batches to submit for payment. Additional tasks may include special projects, and event coordination.
Education:
Associates Degree, accounting certificate or 2
experience
Experience:
Previous experience in administrative or accounting positions required with two or more years with basic accounting experience
A successful candidate must possess:
Positive attitude
Ability to work as a team with other employees and vendors
Strong attention to detail
Excellent written and oral communications skills
Strong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new software applications
Ability to type on a computer at a rate of 50
words per minute
Ability to organize multiple work tasks and prioritize to meet specific deadlines
Understanding of basic accounting principles
Basic math skills thru Algebra
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Basic understanding of Microsoft Access
Proficient in internet and written material research
Additional Requirements
Candidate subject to pre-employment drug test and background check

Salary &
Benefits:
Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The position is eligible for profit-sharing. Benefits include: medical, dental, vision coverage, disability insurance and 401(k) Plan with employer matching.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
