Accounts Payable Coordinator (74660R)


Newly developed accounts payable department seeking candidates to grow with new SAP system.
Coordinator will perform accounting and administrative tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of full cycle accounts payable transactions.
Position will be responsible to:
Review, prepare, and process both Purchase Order and Direct invoices; Validate coding and DOA approvals; Initiate, monitor, and resolve workflow issues as needed; Post invoice activity to the system
Identify, address, and resolve vendor inquiries; Analyze and reconcile vendor accounts; Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, issues, and misapplied payments; Ensure timely payments
Correspond with internal and external customers; Receive and route invoices for approvals for processing;
Run AP Reports; Provide supporting documents for audit; Assist in payment process; Perform other AP activities as needed.
Requirements
Associates Degree in accounting, related business field, or equivalent work experience
1-3 years accounts payable or general accounting experience
Ability to perform in a fast paced, high volume invoice environment
Strong data entry and problem solving skills
Proficient written & verbal communication skills
Detailed oriented and demonstrates the ability for accuracy while meeting goals or deadlines
Can work both independently & in a multi-task, dynamic, team environment
Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures
Proficient time management skills with ability to organize, prioritize, and maintain attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
Experience in an SAP AP environmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
