Description
Candidate assigned to Telephone Communication and Messaging Support Services receives tasks from a government system, directly from managers, or from an IT Service Desk employee. The candidate shall create tickets for any work received directly from a manager or IT Service Desk employee by the first business day after the work is received. Candidate will work with a government service desk, commercial voice carriers and Army elements to coordinate installation of telephone service and repairs. Candidate shall update and maintain telephone invoice spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel. Candidate shall order, process, track and close all requests for long haul services. Candidate shall monitor the NIPRNET and SIPRNET Army Message Handling System (AMHS) for incoming messages and ensure prompt and accurate delivery of those messages to the appropriate personnel. Candidate will instruct customers on how to use newly installed services.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
