Requirements

Masters Degree or higher in Social Work from an accredited University/College
LCSW / CMHC license current in the state of Utah

years experience with management
3
years in behavioral health field.
Positive, team-focused leadership skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software programs quickly
Experience working children & teens
Successful candidates must be flexible, pro-active, solution focused and adaptable to rapid changes in the daily work environment and be resourceful in solving problems.
5% salary increase for English/Spanish proven proficiency

Essential Job Functions

Program Manager manages the day-to-day operations of a program or clinic.
Enthusiastic problem solver
Monitors and is responsible for ensuring that high quality care is given and that there is economical and efficient performance.
Ability to identify and facilitate areas of improvement.
Leads and directs the work of others with a wide degree of creativity and latitude expected.
Set program performance standards and deploy human and fiscal resources as necessary to ensure a comprehensive, coordinated and integrated Behavioral Health delivery system.
Ensure adequate future planning for VBH in order to meet new or changing needs of the community.
Represent VBH at designated meetings with citizen groups, community partners and regulatory partners.
Responsible for day-to-day clinical programming and problem solving. Ensure compliance with VBH policies and procedures.
Direct and monitor the development and maintenance of all treatment plans within area.
Ensure that patient care programs are in compliance with local, state and federal law guidelines.
In collaboration with the Finance department, develop and monitor a budget for each program.
Ensure timely and accurate data collection for the purpose of billing, fee setting, cost analysis, utilization of service, staff time deployment and contract compliance.
Ensure that all programs are fiscally accountable to all funding partners and meets their monitoring requirements in order to continue receiving monies from these resources.
Monitor customer satisfaction.
Develop new funding sources for programs.
Assume responsibility for staff morale and motivation with programs supervised by maintaining open line of communication.
