We have an immediate need for a Security Engineer for PCI/Security Baseline Support. This person will implement and configure Splunk, and other tools, and perform other duties as needed. We are looking for a Cyber Security Professional who possesses a very strong and broad background in IT Security to include network security, application security AND database security.
Must have:
Create customized searches and applications using programming/development skills such as java, python, shell scripting, regular expression, etc.
Ability to build extensive Splunk queries and macros.
Integrate various data sources through either published Splunk integration or custom developed APIs.
Build/use dashboards and reports.
Technical expertise in security event analysis.
Able to work independently with little direction.
Excellent communication and English-language skills.
Industry certifications such as SANS GCIA, GCIH, CCNA, CISSP.
Nice to have:
Experience with Symantec Endpoint Protection, AirMagnet, Palo Alto Networks, Juniper SSLVPN, or Websense.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
