Summary:
The Gearing Senior Project Engineer position is a member of a team of engineers focused on the design and development of gear products that align with our client's growth initiatives. This person must be able to lead gear product design projects along with perform advanced engineering calculations and support product tests in our development lab.
Main Responsibilities/Duties:
1. Lead projects to develop Industrial gear reducers
2. Work with designers to design and layout gear reducers
3. Run software to analyze shaft stress and deflection
4. Select bearings and run software to determine bearing life
5. Perform helical, bevel, and planetary gear design
6. Provide technical support for development testing
7. Project Management and reporting
8. Lead and train new Engineers
Education:
A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
