Current California RN Must demonstrate accuracy and competency in insertion of IV catheters.
Advanced knowledge of IV medications.
Knowledge of blood and blood product administration.
PICC line and chemotherapy certified (or eligible within one year).
What You Can Expect:
This is a position that requires an independent, self directed individual who is able to prioritize multiple work load requests.
When not performing IV therapy duties must be willing to assist staff on the med-surg units by answering lights, doing admission assesments and hanging IVPB medications.
Reporting to the nurse manager, you are part of a small IVT department, thus being flexible is ket to this position.
Additional duties include serving on committees that require an IV therapist's expertise, and following additional training, mixing medications in the Pharmacy after hours.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
